Iaijutsu Bunkai : Okuden suwariwaza Kazumi

Bunkai for Kazumi (霞 - Haze) 1st move of the Okuden Suwariwaza set.



BUNKAI is the practical application of a technique (waza), the essence of it. There may be several Bunkai for each technique. Practicing a waza without understanding its Bunkai is more Dance than Martial Art. There is nothing wrong about dance, but you have to decide what you want to do.









































This video is part of a series of Bunkai of the curriculum taught in
Muso Jikiden Eishin Ryu (MJER) and Muso Shinden Ryu (MSR). They are
performed by 20th centuries masters.

Hakuo Sagawa (1917 – 2004) MSR and
Iwata Norikazu (1913 – 2011) MJER
