Sochin is performed by Tsuyoshi Chitose Sensei (1898-1984). founder of Chito Ryu karate.
This version of Sochin, also used by Yoshukai karate, is so different from other versions (Shotokan for example) that it is possible that the same name was originally used for 2 totally different kata.
